Mid Autum Moon Festival
30September
The Moon Festival, Moon Cake Festival or The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most auspicious days in Chinese culture and occurs when the moon is at its fullest.
Lanterns of all size and shapes, are carried and displayed – symbolic beacons that light people’s path to prosperity and good fortune. Celebrations are held both to give thanks for the good fortune of the past year and to pray for good fortune for the coming year. It is also a reunion time for families as families and friends gather to celebrate.
Celebrate this special day with family and friends in Bakery Lane and California Lane. Book a table and experience the rich and diverse flavours of Asia.
Reserve your table at our Bakery Lane and California Lane eateries at Gung Ho Dumpling and Ramen Bar, Miraak, Jeon’s Kitchen in Valley, Fat Dumpling Valley, 1st Edition Bar and Chicken of Rock.
